Inspired by Tax Day by Fred Chasen and by Tax Schedule by Code for South Africa, TaxClock Kenya is an online tool showing how public budget data can be used to help citizens better understand how governments spend their tax money. It calculates minute-by-minute the time you spend contributing to government services, such as education, health or national debt - and the time that you're working for yourself. Tax Clock provides an opportunity for people to engage with the budget through the money they earn - and the tax they pay.
