In support of the devolution framework, the County Government of Mandera County is required to and has prepared this county integrated development plan in accordance to the County Government Act 2012. Mandera County Integrated Development Plan is a super plan that gives an overall framework for development of a five year period (2013-2017). It aims to co-ordinate the work of local and other spheres of government in a coherent plan to improve the quality of life for all the people living in Mandera. The five-year plan takes into account economic and social development of Mandera county as a whole. The County Government uses this plan as a method to plan present and future development in respective sub-county areas.
